This is Weirs Beach, located in Laconia (about 3 miles from the Outlet). It is perhaps the best known beach in the Lakes Region. From mid-June until the end of August, the City provides a lifeguard to supervise the beach from 10 am until 5 pm. Swimmers are required to stay within the roped-off area (and boaters are required to stay outside the area and the adjacent beach).

Metered parking is available along the street and in the adjacent, Endicott Rock Park parking lot. If the lot is not attended, there is no parking fee (otherwise $10/car). There are public restrooms at the beach. Launch to the left of the roped area, rather than off the point (there can be a strong current around the point into the boat channel).
